When university meets industry
A reflection at Expo UEA Innovation on research becoming solutions and knowledge becoming care for people and the planet.
The record and its context.
Today was one of those days that reminds us why we do what we do.
Being at Expo UEA Innovation, among so many great people and so many living projects, means seeing up close what happens when a university decides to step outside its walls and walk alongside those on the front line of transformation.
The Amazon is not a problem. It is potential. Connecting knowledge, culture and innovation with companies I greatly respect, such as Jabil, is a clear sign that the future is being planted here, with deep roots and real purpose.
We need this: environments where research becomes a solution, where education becomes action, where knowledge becomes care for people and the planet.
May more companies, startups, organizations and hearts join this rhythm.
Because when a university meets industry with humility, listening and courage, there is no limit to what we can create.

Hoje foi daqueles dias em que a gente se lembra por que faz o que faz. Estar na Expo UEA Innovation, no meio de tanta gente boa, tantos projetos vivos, é ver de perto o que acontece quando a universidade decide sair dos muros e caminhar junto com quem tá na linha de frente da transformação. A Amazônia não é problema. É potência. Conectar saber, cultura e inovação com empresas que eu respeito muito, como a Jabil, é sinal claro de que o futuro está sendo plantado aqui, com raiz profunda e propósito de verdade. A gente precisa disso: de ambientes onde pesquisa vira solução, onde educação vira ação, onde o conhecimento vira cuidado com gente e com o planeta. Que mais empresas, startups, organizações e corações se juntem a essa batida. Porque quando a universidade encontra a indústria com humildade, escuta e coragem, não tem limite pro que a gente pode criar.
